On another note, some have asked if they can forgo their rewards so all their pledge goes to the film. For any who wish to do this, the best way is to not fill out your survey by the 14th of this month. Conversely, if you want to receive your rewards, please fill out the survey before then :).

We are also still taking pledges on our website. In addition, we are extending two rewards from our campaign, which are now offered on our website-- Become an Associate or an Executive Producer on our concept.

Hey Awesome Extras (and set visitors),
Here's the drill. Because we didn't hit $300K we will not have a sweeping battle scene in this concept. We WILL have a very quick shot of Moroni fighting in full armor on the battlefield and do need some background for that. We also may have a 3 second teaser shot of a row of soldiers advancing into battle on foot along side Moroni atop his steed. There is a micro battle scene involving only 7 principle actors in our opener, which we will not need extras for. Depending on additional funds that may or may not come in, we may film an encore battle shot that we attach to the end of the concept but we won't know this until later. So, the main extra scene we have, as of right now, is the final shot involving 10s of thousands of Nephites in a gathering place chanting something really cool as they await something really cool (no spoilers!). This will be a shot that is fairly wide and we will be digitally duplicating the crowd to create the massive effect.
We are in the process of narrowing locations. Filming will be around first or second week of December (it will be cold). As you can imagine, this is proving difficult because of the season and lack of greenery as we balance the cost of shooting practically vs. in studio with post visual effects. We have identified two locations that will have a fair amount of greenery during this time. Southern Utah and the Oregon coast. There is still a lot in the air and we won't have a solid answer on location until closer to end of this month or possibly even mid November. I know that sounds nuts but that is film biz (trust me, I've been doing this over 13 years). Often, you don't know where you're going till a week or so before it shoots. We are sensitive to the challenges this presents for those who are purchasing airfare or making other travel arrangements, but there is not much we can do to change it. Thank for your your patience. We will inform you just as soon as we know. For now, we want start collecting info on all our extras so we can prepare for you. Please follow these steps:
